Avensis Models chosen for Quality, Performance, Reliability and Durability

Toyota Ireland today confirmed that it has won the tender to supply a fleet of cars to the Garda Síochána over the next two years. The delivery of new vehicles will commence before the end of the year, 2010.

Toyota Ireland believes that the Avensis’ quality, performance, durability and reliability were key factors in winning the contract to supply vehicles to the Garda Síochána -- attributes which are especially pertinent given the rigorous demands Garda cars are required to withstand on a day-to-day basis. Other determining factors included the proven low cost of ownership as well as the excellent after sales support from Toyota Ireland and its dealer network.
